About Us

Hare Krishna Food For Life of Greater Chicago is a not for profit organization, associated with Food For Life Global, formed with the goal of helping those suffering with hunger in our area! 

Our mission is to deliver hot, home cooked meals to the underprivileged in the Greater Chicago area with trust, care and thoughtfulness.

We pride ourselves in offering the best quality meals that are 100% vegetarian! We hope to grow as a foundation by encouraging as many people as possible to donate and/or volunteer so that we can reach more homeless shelters in Illinois to help.

A key part of our foundation is the youth involvement. We wanted to create a unique experience for teens to be able to get a firsthand experience of running an organization while also giving them an opportunity to give back to their community. As our organization grows, we hope to bring in more of the youth and get them as involved as possible!
